Taylor Simmons, Undergraduate Administrative Intern

Taylor Simmons is a senior undergraduate student at North Carolina Central University. Throughout her college career, she has participated in writing many literature review papers on topics as varied as dark triad personality traits in celebrities and observing how nutrition, diet, and breakfast impact attention performance and anxiety in adolescence. Ms. Simmons has also written a grant during the summer focusing on food as a prescription for people in Durham food deserts and what that may look like. Overall, she interested in how art, music, and food can have an impact on mental health or behavior, and in my future I would love to combine all of these topics into my practice. Ultimately, she hopes to become either an art therapist or a mental health counselor.
