Kim Nichols, MA, LMFTA
Kim Nichols, MA, LMFTA received a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pfeiffer University. Originally from Michigan, Kim has lived in North Carolina for several years. She is also a graduate of Western Michigan University, where she earned a Master’s degree in English/Professional Writing, a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Arts and Sciences, and Professional Education Certification, kindergarten through eighth grade. Kim is a certified Community Resiliency Model (CRM) Teacher and enjoys working with individuals across the lifespan. Although her clinical approach is eclectic, she often uses Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Narrative therapies. Her clinical interests include treating clients experiencing trauma, chronic and terminal health conditions, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, academic and vocational-related stressors, life direction, and spiritual concerns. Additionally, Kim is a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator who offers premarital counseling and works with couples navigating marital and relational challenges.
