Georleena Douglas is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate practicing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy , Solution Focused Therapy and Holistic therapy with adolescents and adults. Specializing in anxiety, depression and minor trauma within the black community. Georleena is from Queens, New York where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Queens College. She relocated to North Carolina, shortly after graduating college. Attending North Carolina State University (GO WOLFPACK!) where she received her Master of Education and graduated in May of 2021. With 1+ year experience working at North Carolina Central University’s Counseling Center. She has experience working with students who are dealing with an array of issues and also LGBTQ+ friendly. She will work with clients to address the source of issues and how to use their strengths and mindfulness to overcome them. Providing mental health services and awareness to the black community is what she believes is most important in her pursuit to counselor clients.
