“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9. Reggie has lived and strives to continue to live his life by these words. Doing good to and for others can be challenging at times, but it is worth it when one can see the light shine and grow brighter in others. This is the reaping he hopes to gain. This is his passion and calling.

He is equipped and passionate about helping and working with both adults and children in individuals, groups and family settings. The focus of his style of therapy revolves around two words. “Encouragement and Empathy” This is always the base and framework to which he works from while using the following evidence-based practices: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Strength-based perspective. Solution Focused Therapy, and forms of Art Therapy.
Reggie’s hobbies consist of playing with his nieces and nephews. When he is not doing that, he can be found either looking at clouds, which he loves to do, or reading and writing poetry. And he loves to get lost in movies and is an aspiring author. As someone who has struggled with his health his whole life, he relishes any opportunity to let his light shine and to be shined on by others. Being Grateful and Staying Encouraged is his motto. The following excerpt is from a poem written by Reggie called “Persevere”. It sums up the type of therapist he is and his goal for those he works with.
…” Through it all we still hold dear the beats of our tired and true hearts, battle tested but still pushing on, We Persevere, We Persevere, We Persevere. We must not succumb neither bow to the synopsis of a storm filled night but persevere through the night to find the ever-present light of the coming day. We Persevere”
