Ms. Pinson is a third-year graduate student attending North Carolina Central University to obtain her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in ASL Deaf Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Following graduation from NCCU, she plans to obtain her license in order to pursue opportunities to work with individuals performing both counseling and testing. She believes in the importance of creating a safe place, free of judgment, to explore their past, present, and future.
Ms. Pinson grew up in Thomasville, North Carolina, Ms. Pinson has lived in Raleigh since 2018. She is the mother of two, and grandmother to six children and one granddog, Thor. She enjoys knitting and often has works in progress for one of the grandchildren on her needles. She also enjoys traveling with her significant other, spending time with family and friends, and Latin dancing.
