Patricia “Trish” Noel, MSW, LCSWA, LCASA
“Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else,” Margaret Mead. Ms. Noel believes that no one should be judged, as each person is unique with their own story. They are the expert of their lives. They are on their own individual journey and we are here to walk with them on that journey, as they seek healing of the mind, body and spirit.
Ms. Noel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate and a NC Forensic Evaluator. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County and her Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore, School of Social Work. Her graduate studies were in Clinical Social Work and Management and Community Organization with a specialization in Families and Children.
Ms. Noel has over 14 years of experience working with individuals, children, adolescents, families and groups. She has worked in the areas of intergenerational complex trauma, drug/alcohol/gambling addictions, forensic psychology, sexual assault, mood disorders, parenting, weight loss, and grief/loss. Preferring an eclectic approach, Ms. Noel uses an integrative clinical approach to include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative, Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic and Solution-Focused Therapies.
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Ms. Noel has lived as a Durhamite since 2010. She is the mother of three, a parental caregiver, and a “mom” to the family doggie, Tzu Tzu. She enjoys cooking, watching the Food Network Channel (to learn new recipes and cooking techniques), traveling, spending time hosting family/friends at home gatherings, and line dancing.
